In the present study, participants with Schizophrenia and participants with Asperger's performed equally on numerous tests that were administered. Both groups functioned similarly on cognitive tasks such as the impairment and difficulties with planning ability, digital-symbol coding, visual attention, word-finding, cognitive flexibility, etc. 

Executive functioning in those with Schizophrenia and those with Asperger's

Participants used the Delis-Kaplan Executive Function System (D-KEFS), which is a set of nine verbal and non-verbal neuropsychological tests for assessing executive functioning in people of all ages. Several tests include verbal fluency, free sorting, free inquiry, color naming, visual scanning, etc.
