Humans will classify themselves into groups based on perceived similarity. A problem occurs because we tend to form in-groups with individuals with whom we have something in common and evaluate our in-group members more favourably than others. This expectation of remote workers exists through human nature and creates a dilemma for remote work that must be addressed.
