Explaining German Inflation Stability in the Eurozone

After Germany adopted the euro in 1999, it relinquished control of its own monetary policy to a new, single central bank for the entire currency union. Despite this, Germany's inflation rate remained low and stable. Briefly explain the primary reason for this continued stability.
