Explaining International Differences in Leisure Time

Imagine two economically developed countries, Country A and Country B. Both have similar GDP per capita, average wage rates, and industrial structures. However, citizens in Country A enjoy significantly more leisure time per year than citizens in Country B. Beyond simple individual preferences, propose and justify three distinct social, cultural, or institutional factors that could plausibly explain this observed difference in work-leisure outcomes. For each factor, explain the mechanism through which it would lead to more leisure time in Country A.
