Fear vs. Anxiety
Fear and anxiety are distinct emotional states. Fear is an immediate, instantaneous response to a present and clear danger. In contrast, anxiety is characterized by a sense of unease, apprehension, and cautiousness concerning a potential future threat or negative outcome.
