Case Study

Feasibility of a Household's Time Allocation

A household model is defined by the following conditions: a couple has a combined 48 hours per day, 14 of which must be spent on unpaid domestic work. The couple also agrees that the total work time (the sum of paid employment and unpaid domestic work) must be shared equally between them. Analyze the time allocation described in the case study below. Is this allocation feasible according to all the model's rules? Justify your conclusion.
