Finding the Domain and Range from a Set of Ordered Pairs

To find the domain and range of a relation given as a set of ordered pairs, extract the individual coordinates from the pairs. The domain is the set of all the xx-values, while the range is the set of all the yy-values. For example, given the relation {(1,1),(2,4),(3,9)}\{(1, 1), (2, 4), (3, 9)\}, the domain is the set {1,2,3}\{1, 2, 3\} and the range is the set {1,4,9}\{1, 4, 9\}.
