Findings of the Experimental Model of Pain in Fibromyalgia Patients

When compared to the healthy control group, consisting of participants with low back pain (P<0.001), participants with fibromyalgia experienced 50% more pain even though the painful stimulus was the same for both groups. The pain inhibition pathways in the fibromyalgia group were found to not operate as efficiently as in the control group
