Association of chloroquine plus a macrolide with mortality and ventricular arrhythmia in hospitalized COVID-19 patients
A multinational registry analysis of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 between December 20, 2019, and April 14, 2020, reported that chloroquine combined with a macrolide (azithromycin or clarithromycin) was associated with higher risks of in-hospital mortality and clinically significant ventricular arrhythmia than the untreated control group.
