Flat-Rate Pricebook Refresh Triggers

Keep the pricebook current so prices track real costs:

  • Every quarter: check changing material prices, especially copper wire, conduit, and breakers, because commodity swings can move them.
  • Immediately after a technician pay change: rebuild the labor portion of the pricebook at once so existing flat-rate jobs still recover the new labor cost.
  • As soon as a new service is added: calculate, test, and publish a sell price before it is quoted to customers.
