Four main influence of self-efficacy
Experience : If people experience easy success they are more likely to be discouraged by failure but if they know the hardship they are more likely to be prepared for it and quickly recover from setbacks.
Social models: Observing someone fail even with their high efforts can make individuals make judgment over their own effort and question their own efficacy. Vice Versa, watching someone succeed can improve and encourage individual in their efforts and efficacy.
Social persuasion: When someone is persuaded verbally, they are more likely to master their efforts and try harder to the extent that they develop skills for self efficacy.
Reduce stress reaction: people who have high self efficacy can understand the negative factors that may affect them.
