Four types of Self Talk
The four types of self-talk are labled by functional designations and are as follows:
- self-critical (assessment of negative events)
- self-reinforcing (the assessment of positive events)
- self-managing (general self-regulation behavior)
- social assessing (the assessment of social interactions)
