The protocol creates a treasury for a JB project and operates on two week funding cycles. These funding cycles operate as fundraisers that should cover the cost of DAO operations within those two weeks. This should include costs of  payouts to workers and any other spending that keeps the DAO operational. Within these funding cycles, a creator can customize the other specifics of the protocol.

Funding Cycles

A Funding Target is the total amount of Eth a creator is looking to raise for their project. If a project raises more money than their Funding Target, investors can redeem the project's token for a percent of the overflow.

Funding Target

The Spending Feature is the an automated feature which allows a portion of every withdraw made by the DAO to be distributed to set wallets. This allows for efficient payouts and minimizes the amount of times gas fees are paid. 

Spending Feature 

The Juicebox protocol also creates a token for the project. This allows investors for your project, and a great feature of this is that every time someone invests, a percent of the token is held by the DAO and distributed to community members.
