The Juicebox protocol creates a treasury for a project and operates on funding cycles, which are often two weeks in duration. These funding cycles act as fundraisers designed to cover the cost of decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) operations for that period. This includes worker payouts and other essential operational spending. Within these funding cycles, a project creator can customize other specific parameters of the protocol.

A Funding Target is the total amount of Eth a creator is looking to raise for their project. If a project raises more money than their Funding Target, investors can redeem the project's token for a percent of the overflow.

The Spending Feature is the an automated feature which allows a portion of every withdraw made by the DAO to be distributed to set wallets. This allows for efficient payouts and minimizes the amount of times gas fees are paid.
