Gender gap in computer science: Methods

This study examined the grades of all students who graduated from the the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Peloponnese, Greece between 2002 and 2008. There were 69 male graduates and 20 female graduates, making the overall study sample size 89. The grades that were analyzed came from courses either classified as Computer Technology and Computer Systems (CTCS) courses or Software Systems (SS) courses, and looked at both compulsory (required) courses and electives.
