Genetic analysis of dyslexia candidate genes in the European cross-linguistic NeuroDys cohort

Results showed that there wasn’t a specific gene with significant linkage to dyslexia. For further improvements to the study, the researchers recommended increasing the sample size. The study of gene KIAA0319 was associated with reading abilities and the phenotypic presence of dyslexia. Another gene that was found to be implicated in the risk of dyslexia was the gene DYX1C1, which was seen in Australia.
