Government Consumption Purchases (G)

Government consumption encompasses government expenditures on currently produced goods and services. Examples of goods include office equipment, software, and cars. The services component primarily consists of the wages paid to public sector employees, such as civil servants, armed services personnel, police, teachers, and scientists. A significant portion of this spending is allocated to public services like health and education.
