Group Project Contribution

In a five-person group project for a class, the final grade is shared equally among all members. Four members work diligently, contributing significant time and effort. The fifth member contributes very little, knowing they will receive the same grade as the others regardless of their individual effort. Analyze this situation by explaining why the fifth member's behavior is an example of the free-rider problem.
