If you would like to hide a specific node from your map view, you can click the right-most icon in the node header to hide it. A hidden node will disappear from your map view. You can reopen it by searching for the node using the search tool (link to search tool article) or using its parent links.

***Note:*** Having a lot of nodes open may cause the map to lag. Be sure to hide or close nodes when they are not in use.

The header at the top right corner of the node has options to change your view of the map, such as:
- Collapsing
- Expanding
- Hiding
- Hiding offsprings

Hiding a 1Cademy Node

If you would like to hide a node’s all offsprings from the map, click the middle icon in the node header. To open children, refer to the Node Footer article.

To view the content of a collapsed node, you have to expand it. To expand a collapsed node, click on the left-most icon in the node header. An expanded node will display the footer and body features. The node must be in its expanded form to use the features in the footer.

If you would like to hide the content of a node, you must collapse it. To collapse an expanded node, click on the left-most icon in the node header. When a node is collapsed, only the header and select footer features will be visible.
