This mockup uses Material Design icons in the sidebar. They are more unified, as opposed to the current design that uses 3 apparent themes between the profile icon, stat icons, and hide/logout icons. The hide toolbar is particularly more clear than the current icon, which could be misunderstood as a back button of sorts.

Note: this mockup is to model new icons ONLY, and does not propose other sidebar changes.
