As a result of the unclear methods of transmission and the general wariness surrounding COVID-19, recycling and using reusable products has significantly decreased. Recycling programs in some countries have been suspended, and on a smaller scale, companies are using disposable bags and utensils in an attempt to curb the spread of the virus.
