  • Finding very specific survey participants is difficult. One example of the “impossible screening criteria” from the article is “Looking for women between the ages of 25-34 who bought a washing machine on their smartphone in the last month but have never heard of Maytag.”
  • Participants who only meet some of the criteria could still provide efficient responses.
