The shared graph contains both granular information (nodes) and relations between them (prerequisite links). The information is organized starting with general topics that break down to more detailed content. 1Cademy users propose changes to the graph to generate and improve nodes.

A visualization of some nodes and prerequisite links between them, which is hierarchically organized and personalized for a specific 1Cademy user. The map supports four overarching learning activities: navigation, summarization, evaluation, and improvement.

To add a new node or to modify an existing node, a user can submit a proposal.

A node is a rectangular box that represents a granular piece of knowledge, summarized in its title and explained in its content.

Nodes are connected to other nodes. Together, they make up a hierarchical Knowledge Graph.

Nodes on the 1Cademy shared knowledge graph are linked hierarchically based on the prerequisite relations between them. If learning the content of node A requires learning the content of node B, the latter would be defined as a prerequisite for A.
A node can have moltiple prerequistie links and can be a prerequisite for multiple other nodes.
