Independent Instruction

The explicit teaching of educational material through lectures or demonstrations done in front of a class.

Direct Instruction

When students use the tools they have learned in class as well as critical thinking skills to complete assignments without aid from their teacher.

Indirect Instruction

A teaching strategy that encourages collaboration and communication between students to complete assignments.

Interactive Instruction

A teaching strategy that utlitizes hands-on activities as opposed to direct instruction to educate students.
