The first component is finding nodes. They synthesized information from how-to articles on the internet and then generated text fragments from subtasks using a state-of-the-art neural text generator with three constraints: relevance (to the task), abstraction (by summarizing content from the articles), and consensus (information drawn from multiple sources). Then, to find the edges, they infer temporal dependencies between subtasks.
