Infants Born to Mothers With a New Coronavirus (COVID-19)

In this study, four full-term infants were born to pregnant women who had COIVD-19 in Wuhan, China. None of the infants tested positive for the virus, or developed symptoms such as fever, cough, or diarrhea. In a past study, five infants who were born to mothers who had SARS (during the outbreak in the early 2000s) were not detected to have the virus.
