Interpreting Physiological Data

An investigator is using a device that measures a person's heart rate, respiration rate, and perspiration. When asked a critical question, the person's measurements for all three indicators increase significantly. The investigator concludes that this physiological response is definitive proof of deception. Based on your understanding of how emotions relate to physical changes in the body, evaluate the validity of the investigator's conclusion.
