Short Answer

Interpreting Production Function Properties

A farmer's grain output (y) is determined by the number of hours worked (h) according to the production function y = g(h). This function is known to be increasing and strictly concave for h > 0. Compare the additional grain produced by working the second hour (i.e., increasing work from h=1 to h=2) with the additional grain produced by working the tenth hour (i.e., increasing work from h=9 to h=10). Explain your reasoning based on the properties of the function.
