IPCC Working Groups

The work of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is structured around three main Working Groups (WGs). Working Group I assesses the physical scientific basis of the climate system and climate change. Working Group II assesses the vulnerability of socio-economic and natural systems to climate change, consequences, and adaptation options. Working Group III assesses options for mitigating climate change through limiting or preventing greenhouse gas emissions.
