Procedure is a sequence of actions that portrays the steps of a certain job. A job aid that determines the procedure will include the action, order and results.

A job aid contributes to employees performance because a job aid can act as a written tool that provides instruction and guidance on a task which in turn helps the employee get tasks done efficiently and properly in a timely manner.

A job aid is essentially a checklist that employees can rely on when attempting to complete a task. It is being used by the employees as means to support them by giving directions or procedures.

 Supervisors have the responsibilities of leading the subordinates in their group tasks. Supervisor support is essentially the extent to which leaders value and care about their employees well being. Three ways in which supervisor support can contribute to employees performance are communication skills, commitment, and being able to enhance the employees behavior.


Supervisor Support

The physical work environment largely has to do with the floor configuration, office layout, furniture layout and the lighting. This contributes to employee performance because the work environment needs to be proper so the employees are not stressed out while getting their job done. Research has shown that the result of the employees performance can be increased from five to ten percent depending on the improvement of the physical workplace design at their workplace.
