Job Strain and Heart Disease (British Civil Servants Study)

A long-term study of over 10,000 British civil servants demonstrated a strong link between job strain and cardiac health. The research found that workers under 50 who had reported high job strain were 68% more likely to develop heart disease later in life compared to those who had reported little job strain.
