Karl Marx's Early Journalism and Exile
In 1842, Karl Marx began his career in journalism as a writer and editor for the liberal newspaper Rheinische Zeitung. His work there was short-lived, as the Prussian government soon closed the newspaper, forcing Marx into exile and prompting his move to Paris.
