Layout of APA Style Tables
APA-style tables follow strict layout conventions to ensure organization and clarity. They feature horizontal lines spanning the entire table at the very top, the bottom, and just beneath the column headings, without any vertical lines. Every column, including the leftmost one, must have a descriptive heading, and overarching headings can be used to organize multiple columns. Tables are numbered consecutively (e.g., Table 1, Table 2) and must include a brief, descriptive title.
