Learners in Crowdsourcing for Education

Learners participate in crowdsourcing for education primarily as recipients of knowledge, but they can also serve as contributors. When acting as contributors, they provide assistance and unique perspectives to their peers. This peer-based involvement is advantageous because the anonymity of the process can reduce stress, and the learners' recent, firsthand experience with the subject matter helps them identify common errors and learning challenges.
