Locomotion is the concept that explains the connection of a person's physical (motor) functions to that person's psychological (behavioral) awareness. This interaction allows someone to move from one place to another.

Motor behavior is the developmental function of all movements made by the whole human body. These movement functions are utilized in every physical and social interaction a person makes. Motor behavior begins at birth and continues throughout a person's lifespan.
