Long-Term Health Effects of Methamphetamine

Chronic use of crystal meth can lead to a range of severe, long-term health problems. These consequences include serious dental decay, commonly known as 'meth mouth,' and skin abrasions resulting from compulsive scratching. Neurologically, users may experience memory loss and persistent sleep issues. Psychologically, long-term use is associated with violent behavior, paranoia, and hallucinations.
