Memo writing

- Code memo: a note relevant to the creation of coding or categories

- Theoretical memo: focus on theoretical propositions, linking categories, or variables. The writing of theoretical memos is the core stage in the process of generating theory.

- Operational memo: contain directions about the evolving research design and data collection strategies.
