A qualitative research was conducted, where a case study protocol was utilized. Data for the study was collected through interviews to gain insight into each participant's experiences specifically. This study takes place in Southeastern United States. The participants were conveniently drawn from the population of 2000 international students enrolled in a public university of nearly 45,000, and 6 students were finally asked to join the study. These participants were all. in their 20s and came from Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Turkey and Spain, and their fields of study were also different: with some in education, engineering, international relations etc.
