In Vietnam, there is a lack of agreement on stigma-related terms in the local language, leading to confusion and the need for a study to establish consistent terminology for addressing disability-related stigma. The research aimed to gather evidence on disability-related stigma, its social contexts, and its impact on people with disabilities. The findings indicate the need for further research on current policies and programs in Vietnam, focusing on factors such as age, gender, type of disability, and efforts to reduce stigma and discrimination.
