Mystical experiences as a moderator of clinical effects of psilocybin
Higher doses of psilocybin are related to the occurrence of a mystical experience. Subsequently, participants that reported having mystical experiences in the higher doses of psilocybin were more likely to report clinically significant improvements in mood, self and life perception, and relationships, as well as a decrease in death anxiety, anxiety, and depression.
