Notation for Recording Matrix Row Operations

To minimize arithmetic errors and make it easier to review work, a systematic notation is used to document each matrix row operation. Capital letters accompanied by subscripts (such as R1R_1 or R2R_2) represent the individual rows. The specific operation performed is then recorded directly to the left of the resulting new matrix, clearly indicating how the previous matrix was modified.
