Operational Practices Supporting Google's Worldwide Information Mission
Google states that it supports its worldwide information mission through offices in more than 60 countries, more than 180 internet domains, and by serving more than half of its results to people outside the United States. Google also offers its search interface in more than 130 languages, lets users restrict results to content in their own language, and aims to provide its other applications and products in as many languages and accessible formats as possible. Google states that translation tools and volunteer translators help improve the variety and quality of services it can offer in far-flung corners of the globe.
