Short Answer

Optimizing Work-Leisure Balance

An individual is choosing how many hours to work. At their current choice of 8 hours of work per day, the value they place on an additional hour of free time (in terms of goods they would give up) is significantly higher than the value of goods they could produce by working that hour. Explain whether this individual is maximizing their well-being and what change they should make to their work hours, if any.
