Orientation of a Hyperbola's Transverse Axis

When analyzing the standard form equation of a hyperbola, the orientation of its transverse axis is determined by the positive squared term. If the x2x^2-term is positive, the transverse axis lies horizontally on the xx-axis. If the y2y^2-term is positive, the transverse axis lies vertically on the yy-axis.
