- The participants surveyed for this study were 3rd year or 4th year students, which included 104 students. 
- The 104 students were all students at the National Institute of Science and Technology of Toulouse in France.
- These students were all able to work independently without the teacher and also were a part of a special highly motivated group.

- Focuses on students for one semester during the pandemic (January 27th - June 5th 2020)
- A sixteen question online survey was used at the end of the semester for the students. This survey was used to evaluate the different strategies used to better distance learning. The responses were based on a Likert scale. There were also 8 open ended questions. The response rate was 85%.
- Teachers also had to fill out a 10 question survey. The response rate was 75%.
- All data was entered into an Excel sheet.
