Physical Attractiveness's Weak Correlation with Happiness

While an individual's self-perceived level of attractiveness may predict their happiness, studies show that a person's objective physical attractiveness has only a weak correlation with their overall well-being. This suggests that how attractive a person feels is more influential on their happiness than how they are rated by external standards.
