Polygenic and Epigenetic Influence on Personality
The genetic basis of personality is complex and not determined by single genes. Instead, personality traits are polygenic, arising from the combined effects of many genes. Additionally, epigenetic factors are critical, as they regulate gene expression, influencing whether and how these genes affect an individual's personality.
