Possible solution to Inefficient “Searching for learning”
If we can leverage the learner's prior knowledge in the search algorithm, the search engines can consider that as an important factor in ordering the search results. So, the search engine should:
- Detect the purpose of the search.
- Only if the purpose is Searching for Learning, in addition to ordering the search results based on their popularity and the user's search history, it should order them based on the user's prior knowledge and their learning objectives.
