Potential Flaws with Strength of Association

Two different factors can be strongly associated with each other but not have a causal relationship. This boils down to Correlation vs Causation. An example that was used in the book of why was children’s shoes sizes and how they are strongly associated with reading aptitude, but they are not casually related to reading aptitude.
