Prevalence of Childhood Sleepwalking by Parental Sleepwalking History
Among children with no parental history of sleepwalking, 22.5% develop sleepwalking. In comparison, the prevalence of childhood sleepwalking increases to 47.4% for children with one sleepwalking parent, and to 61.5% for children when both parents have a history of sleepwalking (Petit et al., 2015).
