Prevalence of OCD Among Older Adults Living in The Community

The 12-month prevalence rate of OCD was proven to be 1.5%. Older adults with OCD were more likely to be men compared to older adults with anxiety disorder or a mood disorder. They experienced more difficulty with social functioning than those with anxiety disorder who were their age. But, among all older adults in this living community, those with OCD used health services less than those with any other mental health disorder.
